We started Minhaaj Learning Center (MLC), to teach, guide, and benefit our Muslim community. Minhaaj means clear path. Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ established a clear path for success in this life and the Hereafter.
At MLC, we strive to instill traditional, authentic knowledge and practical skills to walk this clear path. The foundation to illuminate this path begins with knowledge. Not only did the Prophet ﷺ convey this ever so precious knowledge, but he also guided his honorable companions and Nation to the methods and manners of acquiring it.
The combination of authentic knowledge with the proper etiquette of acquisition, upheld by the upright Muslim scholars for centuries, is tried, true, and necessary to achieve the highest goal: entering Paradise.
مَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيْقًا يَطْلُبُ فِيْه عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيْقًا إِلَى الجَنْةِ
“The one who embarks on a path to acquire the religious knowledge, God facilitates for him a path to Paradise.”
We hope that the MLC will offer a venue for one to embark on this clear path and achieve what is promised in the hadeeth. We strive to guide our community along this clear path and to transmit the knowledge to both youth and adults alike through the culmination of:
- Qur’aan lessons
- Rules of Tajweed
- The Arabic language
- Islamic teachings
In order to accomplish this, we at MLC value the structure of traditional face-to-face education and the rapport our staff can build amongst the community. We take advantage of the opportunities that our learning center offers, and are dedicated to making MLC available and accessible so that Muslims of all ages in our community benefit.
